Pairing flavors and creating recipes stems from various parts of my childhood.. Growing up in the Bay Area I had access to some of the most authentic versions of all cuisines.. And you bet I made it my mission to try as many of these restaurants as possible.  

 

Having southern parents instilled levels of hospitality and a love for gathering friends and family around the dinner table. Having a mother who lived in Japan when she was young,  developed a connection to Japanese cuisine. This fascination has led me to explore different cultures through their cuisines. My kitchen has become a portal to explore this diverse culinary world.
